I picked 5 1934 D peace dollars today at a coin show thay are in various conditions.... you can't see it very well from the pics but the entire profile is doubled and the eye is as well but you can only see that on better condition coins... I assume it's a double die because I found 5 of them with the exact same doubling in various conditions.

I would assume since I found 5 of them at a 16 table show thay are common but with such dramatic doubling...
