Is there such a thing as a foreign coin variety/DD/RPM/RPD/Overdate list? Do you think there'd be much interest in one? If so, why not start one here?
For example, I see in my latest Coin World Trends there are some Mexican overdates/varieties that aren't in my Krause or in my old Whitman albums. I'm sure there are more. Same thing for Canadian.
Would a "comprehensive" catalog be worthwhile?

1. Yes, it is maintained by Ken Potter. It is called the World VCR (variety coin register). There are thousands of listings from what I understand.
2. I'm not sure whether there is much interest in one. If so, I wouldn't mind having one started here, but I do not have time to maintain it - an up-front honesty. Someone else would have to volunteer, and I could set up the code to do it.
3. I don't know how to find out whether there really is much interest in such a list. It would be interesting to find out. Could you do some research?
