Thats the silver Proof nickel. My local bid board has what looked like a nice example of the proof in PCGS PF65. It had a starting bid of $100 on it. I looked at it and it actually had a fairly large patch of green verdigris on the reverse. Thats the first time I had seen that in a PCGS holder. Thats too bad. The coin didnt have a blemish on it otherwise. The board closed today and I dont know if anyone bid on it. I will ask tomorrow.

It perhaps was at one time stored in a flip which had PVC that turned that coin before it was slabbed. Just a thought.

Slabbed PF65 early Jeffs are fairly easy to find, and usually not too expensive. I started with 66's and worked my way up to 67's except for the varieties.

You have an awesome set of Jeffersons, Smed. The war nickels are especially nice when in higher grades.

Thanks Garry, I worked on that set from 2001? 2002? until earlier this year. It's as good as it's going to get because the next step for all grades is pretty expensive.
Here's the set in the cherrywood box I bought from Airtite
