OK so Im posting a lot today. I posted about possibly boiling silver coins. I didnt wait for a reply and did it anyway... Dont yell at me ... these were a 1 dollar investment. Most are so coated with stuff, smelles like pooh, And I don't mean Whinny!
Any way I THOUGHT this was a morgan, that will tell you how bad it was. So I cooked it in plain water with 1 other morgan. I knew the coin had a sharp edge. I could feel it inder the gunk... well this is what I got after 3 minutes in the pot. There is a huge die crack to the right of the L goes all the way to the tip of the nose, and the lamination peel.
