just testing... using a cardboard tube that holds 2 lenses and fits on my hp m425 camera so I just pop the tube on it's lense, set the optical zoom to 3x turn off the flash shoot the pic and crop it. It seems ok but tough to get focused on the first shot. It also seems like if I take pictures of a brown coin they never turn out looking good. They look more pixelized than a red coin but I'm guessing it means less light reflects into the lense.
Looks like a great improvment. Keep it up Ed. Your getting there. It usually takes a 1000 before you start getting exactly what you want. Just remember what works and what doesn't and go with the positive and you will notice an improvment in each photo.
On my setup I use no Zoom. I use the larger picture size and re-size it in photoshop. Usually with the zoom it distorts the image. Just my obvservation. _________________ Richard S. Cooper

Loking good Coop. You gave me an idea. I have been using the ZOOM for everything. BTW my photoshop is useless, because the executive file is corrupt! So much for that option.
I have other options, so maybe the old "gray matter" will get to squirming, and come up with something.
