I have found that when I take pics with the qx3 if i use the bottom lite and then photo shop or i have mgi photosuite4 they come out a lil better.
hope this helps some plp with the QX3.

Darrell, I don't use tjhe bottom light, at all. I can't, in fact, when it is mounted on my QSZ base, where it has a very fine adjustment for the focus. Then I export to My Documents. From there they go to Photobucket, and then are posted. I use the 320X300 pixels format.

Crei que Yo estaba hablando ingles! What is it you didn't understand? THe QSZ is my Stereo zoom microscope. It doesn't have a port for a camera, so I use another means to get the photos. My QX3. The bottom light does nothing if the "specimen" is not transparent. The same thing with my QSZ, the bottom light is as if it didnt exist, for the same reason.
I need your email address, because I am getting EDs email confused with yours! I have your mailing address, and there is no problem there.
