Looks close to borderline listing to me. We'll have to hear what Bob says to know for sure. Very close...

That one is very close to being listable. I would hold onto it for now, and if 2007 turns out to be a bust for varieties, it could work its way onto the site.

Nice find, Gary! I thought I had found a1998-D with wavy steps, but when I looked at the photo, it showed nothing.

Dick: Unwanted light can tend to show something that is not there. (Like your mother-in-laws picture) But a way to see if it is from a secondary light source, place your hand close to the ramp/coin and see if there is extra light. But sometimes some RPMs can only be seen at a certain angle and not all directions. To block unwanted light try placing a facial tissue taped to your scope in the direction of the unwanted light. This will usuall remove the problem, if not a stiffer piece of paper or cardboard. The facial tissue is easiest to work with. The cardboard just need to be between the light and your coin. So it doesn't have to be so close. You could make a stend to hold the cardboard with coathanger wire and the holes in the edges of the cardboard to hold the cardboard vertical to block the light.
