anyone clear this up? The MM looks like the 1971S-1MM-002, and -009, but it is NOT west, nor does it have any exterior markings. It does look very much like the 1971S-1MM-009, but NO doubling. The 002, and 009 both are west, and this is north. Also looks like it might be s/s/s. Looking at it with 4X zoom, it could be sw/sw/sw, or would the movement be sw/sw/sw? (i'll clarify: I believe the first punch was too far ne, so it went sw, and again sw, yet again, sw). Confused? Welcome to the crowd!
The photos don't show the third marking, inside the lower loop, bottom.

Dick: If you are refering to the two marks above the lower serif, they are common from what I can see on several dies for that year. Just look at the RPMs listed. Most show the same marks. Possibly a bad punch?

Coop, you are right. I was referring to the small marking there. It looked like a possible triple , but the markers don't jibe, and no triples are mentioned, so I figured I'd ask. Into the roll with the rest of them. Thanks.
