My guess:
The Obv looks about normal, it has a slight ramp on the lower horizontal bar of E but not enough to get very excited over. Nice class 6 will usualy have a bigger ramp on that bar of E and the spine of the B and other letters of LIBERTY will be arched in at the center.
I think the reverse of your coin is a class 6 DDR, the bottom of the letters on EPU shows it best: E, L and the Us show it.
What do others think?

Ed is right. The obverse is a normal 1936 cent, and the reverse is a very nice Class 6. I have extensively collected 1936 varieties. I have 13 different class 6 reverse dies, and a few more Class 6 obverse dies. These are in addition to the known varieties on the site. This is a very good year for varieties.

Bob, Ed,
Do you know what die state the "Leg" in the R dissapeared on this 1936 variety. I have at first thought is was grease that caused it. I have since read somewhere that it dissapeared. Any help would be great.
David

David,
The leg was partly missing on all 3 (1DO-001, 1DO-002, 1DO-003) from the start of all 3 dies life. So it was there in start at EDS and forever after.

Just adding:
In 1936 they had a working hub that was damaged on the R. They made some dies with it and they have the almost totaly missing leg. They aren't doubled dies and not rare or given a premium but I think they're neat because of how they relate to the DDOs that have the non broken over broken leg of the R.
Then they made some dies using that same working hub with the damage but they gave a second hubbing with a different working hub with a non broken R and there was a shift and it made some dies with doubling that made coins with the doubled dies such as 1DO-001, 1DO-002, 1DO-003 with the R over the broken R.
This first pic is a non DDO with the fully missing leg, the second pic is the 1DO-002 that shows the non broken over broken leg.

Thank's Ed... That is great info.. I have several missing leg's and I'm trying to narrow them down. 01, 02, 03. The last picture I presume is the 01. I posted a find that I think might be that one. Thank you again.

As I mentioned before, I have extensively studied and collected 1936 cents. According to the data I have collected, there are 5 known dies that have the Full R, over Broken R in LIBERTY. Out of those 5 are the 3 biggies for the date...DDOs 001, 002, and 003.
Of the 3 biggies, DDO 002 is the most difficult one to find, and 003 is the most common. In the 39 years I have been collecting, I have found 5 DDO 001s, 2 DDO 002s, and 7 DDO 003s.
There are 11 different known dies that have the Broken R hubbing only.
This shows that the broken R hub was used at least 16 times, and maybe more. It was not unheard of to use different hubs for the subsequent hubbings on many earlier dated coins.
I really do love this year for finding varieties.

Bob,
There could be a book on 1936 alone!
I'd like to see the other 2 full over broken R varieties if you ever have a photo.

Ed,
I also would like to see the photo. Maybe this photo will be in the book.

David, did you see the post with the "peg-leg R"?
That came in a roll I got yesterday. There is a 1929P-1DR-001, class 6, (I think. It has the high outer points oj all the outer devices). Cklass 4, maybe?

I will get a photo of at least one of the Full over Broken R non -variety cents posted here as soon as I can dig it up. The other one was sent to me for examination and I have returned it to it's owner. Maybe I can find my records of it and request it back for photos.
