I know, this one is minor, but I hadn't ran across any for a while showing trails and I don't think '96 had a lot so I thought I would post this one. It shows trails from all digits in the date and the 9s have humps on them where the trails begin.

Steven, that is a nice find! No, it is not minor, quite the contrary.
BJ, Have you seen any "D" wavysteps, or trails? I don't recall if there have been reported any trails, and I thought I had some WS, on the new 2007-D, but it turned out not to be the case.

Hi Dick - Since I live down in Florida, I do not see many D minted coins, however, my files do have about 25 to 30 % Denver coins that do have trails and or wavy steps.
I suspect that there are a lot more to be found and why I say this is that we must remember that Denver did not start making its own dies until 1996. Wavy step and trail dies before that year do not show parity, as they should for they did come from the same shop, Philadelphia. That is why I do have a feeling that there are new discoveries just waiting to happen.
