Just want to confirm if this is a small date, looks like a bit of doubling as well?

This is a small date. The 'doubling' on the 6 of the date is very common as well.

Sandra, take a look at the book you have (page 196). It shows the easy way to determine small from large date coins.

The best way I have found to quickly identify a small date vs large date 60 is to look at the area inside the 0 and compare it to the area inside the 6. On a small date, the area is just about the same while on a large date, the area inside the 0 is about double the area inside the 6.
Yours would be the small date with just a quick glance.
Hope this helps.

John, you make an excellent point! I saw that, too, after I went back to check. I knew there gad to be an easy was, without having to compare the two sizes, side-by-side!
