1984 1DO-002

A couple of weeks ago I decided to take a break from looking through my old stash of coins and pick up a box from the local bank, I found this 1984 which matches with the 1984-P 1DO-002 and I also found a 2000 wide AM .

I think you got it right, you can also see the doubling in the top of the hair in your pic and the other known 84 DDOs don't have that.

Of all the 1984 doubled dies I like that one the best, it has nice doubling in so many areas. It shows in the date, motto, top of the hair and base of the bust and very strong on LIBERTY. You see many of the 1DO-001 but hardly ever see the 1DO-002. I think it deserves more attention, it's one of the best modern DDOs and all of the 84 doubled dies do turn up in roll searches, most people only look at the ear so they don't get noticed. The only down side is most 84 cents are bumpy and ugly.

Keep looking at those 84 cents, the others are neat too.
