I really want to thank whomever has put together the date guide .I find myself using it every day,and I am in awe of all the work and dedication.I am not clear on what the following means though-obverse or reverse is EMDS,or LDS or MDS?

All of the abbreviations you mentioned have to do with die state. EMDS stands for early to mid die state, MDS is mid die state, and LDS is late die state. Basically it is how early or late in the striking process that particular die was struck, with the earlier state being sharp and clear and the later states being more worn and/or mushy in appearance..
