Per CW, and "Chase's Calendar of Events", Feb 12 (Lincoln's birthday) is the day people are encouraged to spend cents or turn your jars full of them in to banks.

No, don't they know that's the day to send them to me for 1.1 X face???? BLAHHH!! Where's my PR chairman?? Fire him!!! I cringe every time I hear these stories of people cashing in their 20-40 year hoard of "pennies" - just makes me sick. Same thing that many people would think if they heard of the old lady who took in a mint sealed bag of 1927S quarters and cashed them in at the bank. _________________ C. D. Daughtrey

I know what you mean Chuck. What a thrill it is for a friend to tell you that jar has been filling for 30 years and you can search it for varieties. Joe
