Took about 150 mile "roadtrip" on my motorcycle yesterday, I was the only that had to gas up. So we stopped in Myakka City, (a flashing light on Rte 70) that consists of that and the gas station/store). I'm outside waiting for my husband to finish gasing her up so I can get change. There on the little window ledge, I see a penny. Well right in my pocket it went. After looking at it through my magnifying glass, I think I found a winner!
Though you can't see all the detail, there are about 5 trails coming from top of memorial and also from the bottom. Also from over the top of the T through the I and the N and one coming down from E all in the "United" Another one coming off the E in "One" and going up.
Then the front 1 large trail or crack? coming from Lincolns neck, I think I see it going through his beard also, then 2 small ones going across the plain field in front of his neck. The last pictures shows it at top of memorial, comes out the bottom, but I don't see it in the bldg.?
What do you all think?

Tery - On the obverse, it does look like straight line gas bubbles. The reverse die is showing die scrapes which were caused by the ejection arm scraping across the die face. Neither are trails, but it does show that you are looking.
