Some of the pics aren't half bad Tery. I think you know what you need to concentrate on, and that is the lighting. The glare needs to be removed, so try to diffuse the light a bit. After that, you will need photo editing software like Photoshop to edit the pictures down to a smaller size.
What you did take some nice pictures of was mechanical doubling though. All of the areas you show in your pics are common mechanical doubling place on the reverse of memorial cents.
Keep practicing, and review the photography help threads for suggestions on lighting.
