Error-Trial Piece, Experimental Coin w/ Design Abnormalities

Hi;

See "crop" larger image of coin. The Image shows 2 different coins.

There is no markings on Darker coin, other than on the "Rim / edge" also the "digits / date" are of the same year.

L coin Digits are awkwardly on coin- Digits 1 & 8 touch at base at which the coin should be an "OPEN 3 -Coin" but ithe coin is a "CLOSED 3- coin".

R coin digits are normal Digits 1 & 8 Do Not Touch and it is a closed 3 coin.

Notice the "size difference" of both date / digits. There are no markings on Darker coin that I can see.
