Hi folks! Enjoyed going through an UNC roll of 1939-P Lincolns
Found a really interesting one, and another possible one. The CC site has one lid currently listed but without picture yet. Not sure the two I have fit the description, but the one I'll call a "whopper" does not seem to, for sure.
So, I have three pics. One is a "normal" eye shot from a typical coin in the roll. The second pic is of one I am not quite sure about (maybe the one on the CC site ??). But the last pic will speak for itself, I think. See what you think !!
Normal
maybe ???

I don't think the second one is, but the third one definitely is.
I would check that one for being 1939P-1DO-001. It would show in the 9 of the date and on the TY of LIBERTY.

Thanks Chuck! I appreciate your comments.
I have not given up quite yet on the 2nd coin and will probably send it in for a direct attribution check just in case.
The "whopper" looks like it might be a new one! I checked per your recommendation on DDO-1 and it does not match up. No doubling to 9 or TY on my coin.
So, good news on that front, it appears!
Always good to hear from you, Chuck. Hope you are settling in well to your new location!
Best regards

While 'settling' should have happened by now, I have been working too many hours to completely adjust to being here. My office isn't even completely set up yet. No excuse, I just don't feel like doing much after getting home from six days a week, 9-12 hours a day.
I am finally slowing down to the point that I can start getting more stuff done.
