This looks thick and "oddly" doubled but I'm just uncertain and need the experts to tell me to throw it in the junk pile.

The pictures are significantly better, but I don't think you have anything there. Sorry...

Some dies are hubbed deeper and look thicker in the devices. But nothing is doubled. Something positive though, it is a late EDS die state coin. Very nice to find them in earlier die states as they take the best images. They really smile for the camera.

Thank you Bob and Coop. I am still having problems understanding or identifying minor doubling. I am pretty sure if I come across something obvious that I will be able to identify it. When I sort thru a large quantity of cents and see the same features over and over again then something jumps out as different I am scared to throw it. There are so many forms of doubling that are common and when I see photos on the site where they almost are shelf like (to me... but obviously they aren't) I then begin to question myself on identifying the difference correctly. As is the case with this cent except that it is late EDS as Coop said and the devices have me fooled into thinking it could instead be doubling. Ahhhh maybe one day I'll have the ability to better identify the vast variety of "pseudo-doubling" till then you will have to put up with my redundant questions. Laughing

We certainly don't mind the questions. That is what we are here for. I really want to finally tell you congrats and that you've got something significant ...so can you find one pretty soon? I would much rather give good news than bad news. Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

Laughing I'll do my best Bob, now that I have a fairly steady stream of boxes of circs...well bout 1 every 2 weeks Rolling Eyes Who knows... this Canadian might get lucky. Wink For what its worth, would rather hear the bad news and hopefully learn from it rather than hear candy coated answers from an unknowledgable source. Thank you for all the "no's" Rolling Eyes the honesty is necessary.
