Is this a Extra MM above the D? The Digit's don't have MD just die wear. It probably isn't nothing but I thought I would ask.

It does look like an RPM to me. There are a couple of D/D North RPMs we don't have pics on the site for, and this might be one of them. I would have to examine it to be sure if it's an RPM or not.

A problem I see with this one is that their is no RPM showing in the center of the mint mark. Also the same mark above the mint mark is seen on the tip of the 9. True they are at different directions, just a thought about what bothers me with this one.

Possible RPM but doubtful. It looks like machine doubling to me. Any sign of doubling in the same direction on the digits of the date?
