Is it possible that this could be a Sans Serif over a Serif. I am looking particularly at the lower end, where there seems to be a tip of a serif.

From what I see in the first image, it appears that the die flow lines is making it look like something is there but it was mint marked that way. Just die wear. The rest looks normal to me.

Well On the West edge of the mint mark I see some machine doubling. The center of the mint mark I see where the mint mark took a hit. Looks like light die scratches/cleaning lines on the lower mint mark. But I think it is just a normal coin from what I see. The mark at the top looked different from image to image, but may just be a minor bag mark. So keep looking and don't get discouraged, they are there. Just not from this die.
