The following was an ad.This is nothing special unless VDB is mentioned & the fact of saying "semi key day" & not key date.
Am I correct, cuz it's awfully cheap!?
Thanks for your help

VERY RARE
1909 WHEAT PENNY
HIGH GRADE ~ RED
LOW MINTAGE SEMI KEY DATE _________________ In the 60's, people took acid to make the world weird.. Now the world is weird and people take Prozac to make it normal.
Sounds like misinformation to me, or a lack of education on the seller's part. 1909 was the first year of the Lincoln cent, and therefore more copies were kept from circulation. A red copy is not very rare, nor is it scarce as over 72 million copies were struck. I also would not consider it a semi-key date. If this had been an S mintmarked coin, his/her description might be more accurate. _________________ Bob Piazza
