I have came across several cents that look almost like a dull finish.
Mostly have been newer coins (2004-2008)

Any ideas,

Mike, do you mean the ones that look like they have been blasted with millions of very ting pellets? They sure make it hard to tell if there is any separation! I don't care for these, if that is what a "Matte finish" is.
