The dodgers won today, and go a half game ahead of Arizona, to take over the lead.
Enjoy it whiole you can! A nine -game losing streak usually comes to an end with a new grasp on life. Tomorrow, they play again, Johnson will not pitch. Look out L.A. We're BAAAAck!

You might want to look at the Eastern Division of the AL. Tampa Bay has it all but won this year. Well above the 600 mark, and just about the only team to do that.

I wouldn't say Tampa Bay has anything close to it being wrapped up Chuck. Lookie who's hot on their heels...only 2 1/2 behind!! GO RED SOX!

Chuck, Hi, and hope you are feeling more normal, again. The Tampa Bay team is a good team, and I figure will giive good proof of that, when the time comes. I don't pay too much attention to the AL, because we are in the NL West, so have very little encounters with the AL, BUT, That is regular season. Post season is where you separate the "men from the boys"! I look for the D'Backs to go face-to-face with the Dodgers for the pennant, and, as of today, the Dodgers are 1-1/2 games aheas. The teamt the two teame plat the final twoseries with, will determine "Who-id Who. My Team has always been the D'Backs, from the very first. They are not always the winners, but they do play, and are full of surprises! May YOUR team win!

I'm not really FOR any team, so to speak. I am very impressed by the Rays and what they have done this year. They are pitching their chips into the pennant pile, and for once it's not always the same teams duking it out. It's only for that reason I am hoping the best for the home team.
Heck, my team fell off the map over 20 years ago when George Brett retired.

I am a Boston native and naturally a Red Sox fan. the game tonite should be a fun one. If th e Sox win they go into first place by 1/2 a game and Tampa can have a chance to beat them tomorrow to switch places. It is fun to have a race to the end of the season.
