As a side note to my topic about the post 2009 era, the Sept. 29 Coin Worls also has depictions of three of the reverses that will appear in 2009. They look way too busy for my taste. Two have full body engravings of Lincoln next to the US Capitol, and the Illinois Capitol. Any thoughts are welcome.

Yes, they look like they put too much into a small area.

And with their machine-like flat engraving they will look horrendous. I'm not looking forward to next year's cents nearly as much as the expected upswing in the market due to the anniversary.

We havent had a coin design last 100 years. It should be interesting, or maybe nothing. The market has been climbing steadily for quite a while.
