I don't know if there is enough clarity, or not, but the full-face view may, or may not show the details. The other two pictures show opposite sides to indicate the "apparent shift in the same direction, (as in doubling), to see if it IS doublng, or MD, but in opposite directions, and to the same degree.
Just looking at the "preview", I'd say there is not enough detail to say.

Dick,
I can see bits and pieces of what you are referring to. Off hand, I would agree that this is mechanical doubling. It is not unheard of to have it in more than one direction.
