You would have to look at the mintage numbers of the coins to determine relative value.

That's a French 5 centime coin, featuring Napoleon III who was a nephew of the "real" Napoleon. NapIII tried to revive the French Empire but was ultimately defeated by the Prussians.
The coin is an 1856-D (D=Lyon mint) and is common. My 2001 Krause has it at $2 in fine.
I'd say 4 out of 5 dates/mintmarks for these 5 centime and 10 centime coins are common. There are valuable date/mint combinations ($20+ in fine) and there are better varieties too.
Note the "privy marks". His beard points to an anchor and on the other side of the date is a lion. Some privy mark combinations are scarce.

Thank you Robert for the great info! I was going to ask what websites had the mintage info etc., obviously you have a book. I have about 4 other of these coins, lastest being in the 1870's. Do not have them in front of me, but I think I remember seeing a BB mark on one. Thanks again for the knowledge input, Lord knows I need it

Give me the dates/mintmarks/denominations and I'd be glad to post mintages.
Mint marks circa 1850:
A=Paris
B=Rouen
BB=Strasbourg
CL=Genoa
D=Lyon
K=Bordeaux
L=Bayonne
W=Lille
M or MA=Marseille
