I'm pretty sure these are just flow lines off the devices, since these marks seem to follow the flow lines in the field.
I still thought I'd post it so Dick can take a closer look when this coin arrives.

Hi Kurt! I'm not sure but I believe you are right, in that theyt are flow lines. Teails don't seem to look that waty, (to me). I have not seen any very short trails, so there is room for doubt;
I'll be looking at this coin, a bit closer,agfter I get it,and my new camera. I'll use your picture in the post to compare with mine. maybe I will be able to get one colse to yours!

Hi Kurt, As a follow-up on your last post with th 1924 cent, It is dlow lines. I just finisged checking, and "installing" them. my list grows shorter, but still stands! These coins fit right in with the rest in the folders.
