Looks like I'm the first to report on the subject! Cool

On page 40 of the Feb 16 Coin World, Ken Potter quotes Chuck (and mentions Coppercoins.com BTW) on how the 1972 DDO No. 4 looks a lot like the No. 7.

Bob gets mentioned too as saying he's only attributed 1 of these very scarce DDOs.


The main article is about a record-setting price ($2250) for a 1972 DDO.


Preaching to the choir perhaps, but the lesson here is to learn all you can about varieties. And this site is a supremely powerful tool to help you do just that.

Unfortunately I don't get Coin World any more. I have to save my bucks for another subscription.
