If you're interested in overdates like I am, you might enjoy this collection of overdates from 0/1 to 9/8. These are from Australia, USA, Mexico, Peru, and Sweden.
Many represent common details/positions for overdates, which might help you find your own.

Very impressive set Kurt. You have an entire date set there. Similar overdates on US coins are worth a ton of money.

You should make up some 8 x 11 copies and sell them.

Thanks, and I wish these were all mine. Laughing Half are from my collection, and the rest are to complete the date run. One of the 8/7 is the 1888/7 IHC, which is a good one to know! Very Happy

Yes, there are less than 25 examples known of 1888/7, and priced accordingly Laughing I check every 1888 for that one, because a few have been found in dealer stock. I'd never pay the going price for that one.

i thought abouit buying bulk IHC, just on the chance there might be something like that in the lot, buy the chances of it being an unsearched lot, would be astronomical!. Not even finding a buulk lot, somewhere in mwxico, would be very remote. The Indians there didn't mint their coin,, and everywhere else, everyone knows what they are worth, so.....Lost cause. I guess it is okay to dream,, tho

I agree...IHCs are scrutinzed much more closely than wheat cents, and for a longer time. At this point, I think most "bulk lots" are limited to coins that cannot be sold separately. And, it's fun to dream of going back to 1877 and buying a $50 bag of IHCs Laughing

And there is barely an overdate visible, comparing it to the coin next to it. What is the other 8/7 overdate from, Kurt?

As an overdate, I actually like that other one better. That's a 1888/7 1 centavo from Mexico. There are a lot of different 8/7 coins...I should post the others sometime.
