Have thanks: 3 time For those of you not on the CCRS site, here is an auction that ended last night. I have seen 5-6 1859 brokages, but never one essentially centered. What a great coin (if it's real)!! http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... K:MEDWX:IT
Mike, Diamond, What is your opinion of this coin?
Thanks for looking,
Dick

Coop, I have a question, (dumnb), but never the less,m a question:
On the IHC OBV reockage, does this affect the diameter, (ai would think so), and if not, why niot? The reason for this particular question, is that I have a couple of Vickys, that resemble the REV on a couple. I will post them, or it, as the cAse may be, but later. I need to edit this post, after dinner.
coop, it turns out there are no brockages, (all OBV/REV rim areas are intact).
I did, however, determine that at least one is the OBV #3.

It would probably be determined if the planchets were inside the collar or not. Out the would be larger. Inside normal width. Looking forward to the images though?
