I just found several 1946D that on the surface appear to be
1MM-004. The coin I have appears to have a split serif doubled main D as well as the noted D north east. To add to this confusion I find the reverse marker to be acceptable except I must have a later state. The interior of the right wheat stalk at the 4th leaf from the bottom is doubled and there is also an extra leaf at that point. I do not see how the mint mark difference happened unless the split serif was just not noted on Coppercoins. I am assumeing that the doubleing and extra leaf on the reverse are due to die chatter and polishing. Am I correct or full of holes again>Thanks ~lucky2

It would take at least photos to help, and possibly an attribution.
