Don't know much about them but I would say you may be talking about the Queens gown strap over her shoulder. I couldn't find any photos though. I did read that the no strap does bring a premium over the ones with the strap. Would like to know what you find out. Even though I don't pay much attention to foriegn coinage however I have some around here somewhere.

what year are we talking about. I know there are a couple of different 1947 Cents. I don't remember what the difference was. I've got several of each. I guess I'm going to have to look now and see what was different.

Is this what we are talking about for the strap or folds in the gown.

I don't have a pic, the main varieties would be:
The 36 has 2 types and one has a dot below the date, it's worth big bucks but only a few exist.
The 47 has 2 types and one has a small maple leaf right of the date but both types are easy to find.
The 53, 54 and 55 come in 2 types and one has a strap. The 53 is cheap in either type. The 54 and 55 without the straps are rarer.
Your best bet is comparing to the 53 which is easy to find in both types.
There's also 4 different 65 varieties, small beads pointed 5 - small beads blunt 5 - large beads pointed 5 - large beads blunt 5 and the small beads pointed 5 is worth a few bucks.

Stevens pic shows it.
There is also another differance.
The real no strap ones (rarer ones) also have seriffs on all of the "I" on the obverse but the strap ones don't.

Looks like the bust is doubled in that area?
