1942P-1DO-002
| CLASS 4 (MDS) CONECA: DDO-008 | Crawford:CDDO-001
Wexler: WDDO-003 | FS#:104 coin photographed is credited to Steve Traugott
Doubling shows as a strong spread to the south on the 19 of the date, the eyelid, bowtie, upper hair line, and profile. A weak/limited first hubbing produced this unique doubled die. NOTE: This die is very similar to 1942P-1DO-005. The direction of the spread (south vs southwest) is a key to identifying this variety. Look closely at the eyelid, date, and bowtie, as they are a determining factor.
