Obverse
NW-SE die scratches run through the date and mintmark. NE-SW die scratches show under LIBERTY. A few die scratches run NW from the back of the head.
Reverse
A heavy die scratch runs fron the left wheat tip to the rim. N-S die scratches show in the middle of the design. Reverse is EDS.
MDS markers
Obverse
A light die scratch in the field to the left of the jacket. A light NW-SE die scratch below the I of IN.
Reverse
Numerous light die scratches below the C of CENT. Reverse is MDS
LDS markers
Obverse
A light die gouge runs SW-NE above the Y of LIBERTY. Another die gouge runs through the left half of the T of TRUST.
Reverse
A very heavy and long die gouge runs from the left wheat lines through the UN of UNITED. Reverse is LDS.

This variety shows a weak punching of an S mintmark betwen the 1 and 9 of the date. All major attributors, except CONECA, recognize this as a valid misplaced S mintmark. CONECA delisted this variety from CPG 6.2.
