MDS markers
Obverse
A patchwork of die scratches show around ERTY of LIBERTY - mainly west-east above, and NE-SW below. North-south die scratches in front of the face, of particular notice is one that intersects the tip of the nose and nearly touches the chin. Heavy NE dies scratch connects N of IN to G in GOD. Reverse is MDS Reverse
Many die scratches, mostly east-northeast to west-southwest through ONE CENT. A rather heavy die clash mark shows inside bay 3 and underneath the memorial. Weak E/W die scratches under base. SE die scratch connects ES in STATES.

Large date. A line in the lower two thirds of this variety is the first pick-up-point, and a heavily punched close-spread CCW mintmark shows as split serifs.
