A die scratch from the middle of the I to the bottom of the T in UNITED. Another scratch from between the N and I of UNITED to the left cornice. Weak E/W dies scratches under base.

Large date. Another of the lower east hook varieties, this one has a very close spread. This one exhibits a die chip inside the upper area of the 9 of the date in later die states.
