Die gouge between lips; die gouge below B of VDB near rim; curving die scratches near rim around most of the obverse, easily spotted below the bust and above WE; stronger die scratch connects the upper NW corner of the W from WE to rim; vertical to diagonal die scratches in front the the upper head and face; the same die scratches appear just below the nose and more haphazardly under TRUST; wiggly vertical die scratches near the outer folds of the jacket; numerous diagonal SW-NE die scratches through LIBERTY; a die gouge below the R in LIBERTY. Die gouge below the N of UNUM above memorial roof; nearly horizontal die scratches through ONE CENT, in particular is a long scratch from the right-middle of the O, the top of the N and into the field and a lone SE-NW die scratch running between the lower E and N. EMDS
