A die crack on the forehead above the eye brow no die chip present. Weak SSE die scratches under chin. Obverse is EMDS. Reverse
Die crack beginning to appear on the left top of the shield. There appear to be trails from the bottom of the letters CEN of CENT.

A die crack and chip on the forehead above the eye brow. A die crack under the W of WE. Obverse is MDS. Reverse
Die depressions and cracks beginning to appear on the entire top of the shield. A stronger die flow mark above the T of UNITED. There appear to be trails from the bottom of the letters CEN of CENT.

Strong extra thickness can be seen on on LB, USA, and ONE CENT, with moderate extra thickness on JFM and the shield. Notches can be found on the bottom left N and E of ONE, ENT of CENT and the LB. Distortion is seen on the incuse letters in EPU.
