Obverse
Numerous die scratches show in the date and mintmark area. Heavy E-W die scratches show above and below the ER of LIBERTY. N-S die scratches show behind the head and in the field in front of the head. Reverse
Very heavy die scratches run generally N-S through the right base of the memorial into the NT of CENT. These heavy die scratches continue into the right cornice and roof area where the curves to a die clash from the 96 of the date show. A double die clash of the TY of LIBERTY show inside bays 1 and 2, and an area of die damage shows to the left of the memorial building. Reverse is MDS.
