Three die dents (or gouges) near the rim below the last T in TRUST; a number of vertical die scratches are in the field above the date and in front of the face, two run at a slight diagonal above the 9; a cluster of die gouges below the 0; NW-SE die scratch from the bottom of the E in WE; light NW-SE die scratches through and below GOD; a strong NNW-SSE die scratch and gouge between the rim and lower shoulder well below LIBERTY; several vertical die scratches through ERTY.
Reverse
Die gouge inside the N of ONE; small die gouge below the o in OF; old horizontal die scratches can just be seen in the field by the upper left memorial corner. MDS

Light CCW class I spread seen as separation lines and notching in LIBE of LIBERTY and GOD, with extra thickness in IN WE TRUST and the date. An earlier die state example may show additional separation lines.
