Grading Guide for VF20
This coin is typical of a lower quality very fine wheat cent. Notice the details are all rather sharp for the grade, but spots and other detracting marks such as scratches keep this one from being very eye appealing. Many of the dirty blotches could probably safely be removed, but the scratches and abrasions are there to stay. The technical merit for this coin is that it has full, yet not completely distinct wheat hair lines, and it has a flattened, yet separated cheek and jaw areas.
