Pocket Change...
1912 proves to be another year in which production numbers are low enough so as to not afford much room for varieties. Very few varieties of note are known for this year. obverse - A couple of rather noticeable mint mark varieties to be found, nothing of note in doubled dies. reverse - No varieties are known to exist for the reverse of 1912 cents.

the proof...
This year marks the fourth lowest year of production of any proof Lincoln cent. No varieties are known. obverse - As with the past couple of years, this year's proof cents are matte proof. A chance exists that one could have slipped as a business strike, so watch for the sharp strike and slightly mottled appearance in the fields. reverse - same as for the obverse.
